We understand that these activities may not appeal to each individual so we have therefore allowed free time for you to enjoy these experiences. These have not been included in the tour cost and include scenic flights, penguin tours and rail journeys. To book any of these optional activities simply nominate them at the time of booking or advise Groups Tasmania at anytime in the lead up to the commencement of your tour as reservations are often necessary.

West Coast Wilderness Railway $111.00 Adult
Now one of Tasmania’s premier attractions, this restored 1896 rack and pinion railway will travel through one of the world’s last pristine wilderness areas, crossing 40 bridges and wild rivers. This 35km journey from Queenstown to Strahan will pass through historic settlements and abandoned camps as well as over 200m up the 1:16 rack gradient.
