Day 1: Arrive Launceston
Your tour commences by meeting your Tasmanian Coach Captain in the reception
of the Olde Tudor Motor Inn at 10:00am. After introductions are made, board
the coach for a day of touring Launceston's Tamar Valley. Visit the Swiss
style Village of Grindelwald before an afternoon visit to Beaconsfield's
Mine & Heritage Museum, the site of the 'Great Escape' before
returning to Launceston. Return to your hotel to freshen up before dinner.

Day 2: Scamander
Before leaving Launceston this morning visit the Cataract Gorge. From here
travel out through the fertile hills surrounding Scottsdale as you make your
way to the sunny east coast. Stop at Ledgerwood along the way and
visit the amazing tree sculptures of World War 1 soldiers. Tonight's stay is
in the seaside township of Scamander.

Day 3: East Coast
As you make your way down the picturesque east coast this morning stop off
at Swansea and visit one of the regions local vineyards, Coombend. As you
leave Swansea keep an eye out for the quirky profile of Spiky Bridge. From
here travel down to Triabunna and Orford before turning inland and head to
the famous township of Richmond. Along the way stop off at the Church of St
John the Baptist in Buckland where you will see a stained glassed window
depicting the life of John the Baptist and is said to date from the 14th
century. Your last stop today is Bonorong Wildlife Conservation Centre where
you will have the opportunity to see a Tasmanian Devil among many other
animals native to Tasmania.

Day 4: Hobart
This morning explore the famous Salamanca & Battery Point Precinct as you
enjoy some free time to shop and explore for yourself what Hobart has to
offer. This afternoon visit the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens for a walk
around these picturesque and beautifully designed gardens. You will also get
a different perspective on Hobart as you make your way to the summit of Mt
Wellington to enjoy the views of the city and the surrounding areas. Tonight
you are free to dine wherever you like. You can choose to stay at Wrest
Point or experience one of Hobart's many fine restaurants.

Day 5: Port Arthur
Travel to the south east corner of Tasmania where you will learn of the
atrocities that took place here over 200 years ago. Richly embedded into
Australia's history the Port Arthur Historic Site is guaranteed to have an
affect on all whom visit. Visit the coastal features that surround Port
Arthur that have been formed by thousands of years of pounding by the waves
of the Southern Ocean.

Day 6: Queenstown
Say goodbye to Hobart and travel to Queenstown on Tasmania's rugged west
coast, visiting the township of New Norfolk along the way as well as
stopping at Mt Field National Park and walking to the foot of the
spectacular Russell Falls. Your stay tonight is in the mining township of
Queenstown.

Day 7: Gordon River
This morning travel to Strahan and board your state of the art catamaran as
you cruise across Macquarie Harbour and travel up the famous Gordon River.
Onboard you will receive a smorgasbord lunch to enjoy as you cruise the
tranquil waters. Upon your return to Strahan spend some time exploring this
quaint fishing village before heading back to Queenstown.

Day 8: Cradle Mountian
Today travel to one of Tasmania's best known icons, Cradle Mountain National
Park. Enjoy a tour to Dove Lake where on a clear day the craggy peak of
Cradle Mountain can be seen. As you make your way down to tonight's stay in
Devonport, stop at the mural capital of Australia, Sheffield.

Day 9: Devonport - Launceston
Last day in Tassie! As you make your way back to Launceston today stop at
the township of Latrobe and spend some time here visiting the many antique
shops. From here travel to Ashgrove Farm Cheese Factory where you can taste
and purchase some of the finest cheese in the world. Your final stop, the
majestic Entally House makes for a perfect setting for those final photo's
of your new found friends. From here our coach captain will deliver anybody
that is flying out today to Launceston airport by 3:30pm whilst those that
are staying on can be delivered to any city hotel.
